(For a live action short film) I was tasked with redrawing the storyboards to this scene based on the shot list provided, as well as constructing the boards into an animatic. The director and cinematographer were having trouble envisioning how everything would be edited together, and I was told this really helped both them and the producer understand which shots were essential.
When the winter sun sets in Antarctica, months will pass before it rises again, bringing about a perpetual cold darkness. In preparation for the never ending night, ancient species do what they can to survive the last sunset.

I was tasked in drafting up this storyboard sequence and animatic based off a rough idea of a shot list; emphasizing the suspense when Mike swings open the door to reveal a traumatic memory from his past.
