As early as I can remember, I was fascinated by the behind the scene features of all my favorite movies: Godzilla, Star Wars, and Jurassic Park. From the moment I picked up my first camera in the third grade, I've wanted to be a film director, whether it be for live action or animated content.
Growing up in Gilbert, Arizona, I clawed together whatever project I could with my friends and family, learning the bare-bone basics of creative storytelling and leading a team along the way. I was also fascinated with the art of stop-motion, using both my LEGO sets and various Godzilla action figures to both recreate moments from my favorite shows and to create stories of my very own.
This ambitions quickly developed into a life long passion, and the rest is history.
Over the years, I've dedicated my life to the art of filmmaking and animation, chasing my dream of one day being able to share my vision and stories to the world on the silver screen.
In 2017, I accepted a scholarship to Columbia College Chicago; one of the top 15 film schools in the United States.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude in December of 2021, double majoring with Honors in Cinema Arts and Sciences (Directing Focus), and Traditional Animation (Stop-Motion Focus), all with a minor in Entrepreneurship.
My experience at Columbia was been nothing short of incredible. The professors taught me invaluable knowledge of the film and animation industry, and the advanced facilities and technology provided allowed me to stretch my creative legs like never before.
Still, I am eager to learn more and develop my skills under a proper internship or full time job, of which I am seeking either now.
